Dear Friends,

There has been a lot of discussion over the past week about tax reform.  While some have misrepresented the truth, I have been consistent in pushing for tax relief for South Carolina businesses and families.  In our recently released Executive Budget, I proposed $140 million in tax relief -  a proposal that would lower personal income taxes for South Carolina families, reduce business taxes for small companies throughout the state and get our economy moving.

On Tuesday, I will visit a business near you to spread the word about our plan to lower taxes.  I hope you will be able to join in one of the following events:

Tuesday, March 13

9:00 AM – Greenville
Carolina Machine and Tool
300 Industrial Drive
Greenville, S.C.

10:45 AM – Aiken
Aiken Industries
1910 Richland Avenue East
Aiken, S.C.

12:45 PM – Charleston
Banks Construction Company
4901 Banco Road
North Charleston, S.C.

3:00 PM – Grand Strand
Garden City Realty
608 Atlantic Avenue
Garden City, S.C.

Reforming our tax code is essential to keeping South Carolina on the right track when it comes to economic growth and recruiting businesses.  I ask you to stand with me on Tuesday for lower taxes and a stronger South Carolina.

My very best,

Nikki Haley
